World Day of Prayer

Church Women United invites you to A World Day of Prayer: A Glimpse of the Philippine Situation, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of women of many faith traditions in 170 countries who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday of March. This year’s guest speaker is Sharon Quinsaat from the Sociology Department at Grinnell College. She will share her experiences growing up in the Philippines and studying social justice issues pertaining to Southeast Asia.
